Bangalore in Winter

It’s my favourite season — winter! And it’s a lovely time to be in this city too. The tabubuia blossoms paint the town pink and purple, and there’s that slight nip in the air in the morning that makes you spend a few extra minutes in bed.
It’s also a time for one of my absolutely favourite things — corn! When the yummilicious smell of freshly roasted corn wafts in the air it’s hard to resist getting yourself a ‘butta’. And the vendors seem to magically appear in every street…
The cat is equally lazy these days and not inclined to get up at all. On Saturdays, usually the only day I can afford to sleep a little late, she’s only too happy to curl into her warm flannel lined basket and catch those extra winks. At the most, she opens her eyes slightly, stretches her graceful limbs for a minute, suns herself in the balcony. And then promptly curls up in a ball and goes back to sleep again.

i love winters.…but not the extreme winter of doon…it was soo damn difficult to get up in the morning…well it aint easy to get up early here in the morning…as u said…those extra minutes…my first line in the morn’ is “Bas ek minute aur”.…bhutta.….i love it to…with lots of salt n lemon…majorily find all the bhutta valas in Jayanagar 4th block..

Are they Tabebuia or Jacaranda trees? I thought tabebuia were the yellow flowered ones.…

wow! I have been admiring those pink blooms that cubbon park is so full of — stop for 5 minutes on the way to class every sat and sun. I hope you can capture the circle of those trees outside the library and the court through your magic appareil de photo.
And so that is mmle.Kitkit — we never actually got to see her through all that adventure you know — but sure heard a few mouthfuls from her!!!

Hi, I will come to Bangalore tomorrow. I hope for a great time. Pics are great and what is more important there is not snow in winter time. I hate snow.

I never wanna be in Bangalore..Such a terrible and worst traffic I have ever faced in my whole life. Govt should focus on infrastructure rather bragging.
