For a slice of chocolate heaven!

February 24th, 2007  |  Published in Eating Out, Living, Wining & Dining  |  6 Comments

Okay, now let me confess that I’m not very big on chocolate or sweets. But that certainly didn’t stop me from trying this dessert place called Chocolate Painted Platters.

Chocolate Quotes

I took the opportunity to ogle at the different shapes & sizes. And take pictures. There is a poster with some cute chocolate related quotes, don’t forget to read through it!

PP is located in Jayanagar’s 7th block. I’ve heard about it quite a lot and passed it on one or two occasions. Finally, with a sweet-crazy friend, headed out for a taste of chocolate heaven.

Chocolate Quotes

What we ordered: a) A coconut and lemon grass crème brulee : soft & sweet; b) A dark and light chocolate: loaded, creamy & sinful; c) A strawberry ice cream torte: little strawberry, more chocolate! (For the record, most of it was not consumed by me!)

Strawberry Delight

With rather light pockets and heavy hips, we headed out next door to Pure & Natural to end the evening with a salad. Yes, the irony of it!

The complete report with pictures is here.

somehow, to me, the salad looks very good compared to the ice creams..
The quotes are very good though. They should have put lot of effort in getting these quotes! thanks for sharing!

Hello. I jumped at the earlier post on Koshy’s. It’s a mystery to me too. But it’s a place that allows you to dissolve among the tables: maybe the noise, the slow pace, the anonymity that bad service allows you. I can read there; I’d get a bit conscious at many other places. Besides, I’ve never been asked to leave after paying the bill– I can stay, scribble, ponder, stare. Or so it was three years ago…

    ari: absolutely!!

humorous guy: glad to be of help!

simba: yes, they had a nice poster filled with quotes!

kaushik: yes, a lot of people just like the place because of the same reasons!

blr bytes: yes, i think they have an outlet at the la madeleine but am not sure if all the varieties are available there. there is also one more at koramangala, on the raheja residency road, just on the left after the petrol pump!
