I had done a nice long piece for Mint on run­ning and it’s increas­ing pop­u­lar­ity in Ban­ga­lore. It’s finally out:

This is a much edited ver­sion though to what I actu­ally wrote. But I guess that’s the haz­ard of writ­ing! I’ll prob­a­bly have to look else­where to get a longer ver­sion published.

    hi anitha,

    i am a pilot in indian airforce..i enjoyed read­ing ur blog…i am very fond of run­ning espe­cially cross coun­try type. i would be happy if these kind events hap­pen now and then.

    but its more wat we learn out of these events is run­ning for health and not pop­u­lar­ity. if that mes­sage is nailed down in your head then there no prob­lem for our health in future.

    ith kind of life style that we have its manda­tory to go for run atleast thrice a week.

    Know­ing you, I can very well relate with your per­spec­tive of look­ing at life and how one use hob­bies to fuel well­be­ing of intellect…keep up the spirit!!
