India & Around

Looking forward to…

A quick update… It’s been a hectic few weeks. My blog looks a little forlorn. I have a tea story from Cochin in my head and I haven’t managed to post it. Besides running a 5K in the women’s corporate rally at the Midnight Marathon on Jan 9, I haven’t really done any long runs mainly out of laziness and the cold (it’s a nice excuse!). So, I am definitely not happy with my preparations for Mumbai, but it’s too late for hindsight and after thought…

But, on the bright side, I’m looking forward to:

~ Catching up with old friends

~ Eating (no trip of mine can be complete without this anyway!)

~ Window shopping (somebody will need to stop me from splurging)

~ Running in Mumbai for the first time!

And so, here I go…

  5. Hi Anita,
I’m a 23 year old blogger from Jorhat, currently studying in Guwahati Medical. Stumbled upon your blog while searching for fellow bloggers from Assam. i just started blogging a month and half back. You’ve been here in the blogging world for quite sometime…and a newbie like me would be very grateful if you give me your feedback on my blog. My blog is a record of my life as well as about sharing the things I love. I write about a variety of topics…ranging from my life, travel, books, medicine…things I’m passionate about. And my blogging philosophy is that i write because I love it. Contents of blog posts aren’t written keeping in mind what might interest or attract readers…so everything is quite haphazard and not properly structured. And i still got so much to learn…and develop my nearly non-existent writing style. But I got hooked to blogging and enjoying every moment of it. Your feedback would be very valuable.
    Thanks, Mayurakshi (mon)

  8. @ ranjit: just got to eat pithas at a friend’s placec in pune!

@ mon: well, great to know you’ve started off! what i would say is that to just keep at it. over time, thoughts and posts start getting more organised automatically! so does writing style. in the beginning, it’s just about keeping the habit alive! and all the very best :-)

    @ luis: thanks!
