Whitefield gets a brand new dining place in Counter Culture

The newly opened restaurant, proves to be an interesting place to hang out and gossip with friends, over food and drinks, especially over a long lazy weekend meal.

Do nothing, do everything!

A weekend spent at Linger, Balur Estates in Mudigere, Chikmagalur makes sure you come back refreshed and rejuvenated.

A day at the races

My experience with the exciting world of horse racing at the Bangalore Derby 2011.

Garage sale to Support “Tin Sheets”

Two years ago, Ekta Mittal, co-founder, Maraa and Yashaswini Raghunandan, a film maker and artist started working on their film “Behind the Tin Sheets”, documenting the lives of workers building the Bangalore Metro.

Going the distance!

An account of a 400km ride covering Bangalore-Vellore-Bangalore in 26 hours and something minutes, as a part of the Bangalore Brevets. In the shade of some lovely old trees, the house stands tired, broken, and falling apart – painting a rather sad picture. We were having breakfast at […]

Into the light!

2011 came without much warning. I breezed through 2010. A lot of travel and work kept me busy and off the blog! The “project” I much wanted to launch didn’t see light of day (at least formally). But then, that’s life, I discovered. Most things you have on your “to do” list don’t get done […]

Biking in San Fransisco

My first time to the United States turned out to be a short trip indeed. I only had one destination in my calendar – San Fransisco. A quick trip to Seattle happened too, except that I only saw the interiors of my aunt’s home there :-)
