Necessary Evil?

February 27th, 2007  |  by Anita  |  published in Entertainment, Humour, Living, Personal

So in my whole friend circle, I know just one person who doesn’t possess a cell phone. One. Over a period of time, we’ve grown so used to this handy device that life without it is quite difficult to imagine. I for one, would feel lost without one. I, especially find it useful when travelling […]

Why do we frequent Koshy’s?

February 23rd, 2007  |  by Anita  |  published in Entertainment, Humour, Living

This is one great mystery for me. Most of the time the food is nothing to write home about and not value for money. The waiters talk to you like you are a very sad life form that doesn’t deserve to exist, the place is noisy and you can literally hear the conservation on both sides […]

V-Day has become V-Scary Day!

February 14th, 2007  |  by Anita  |  published in Entertainment, Humour, India & Around, Living, Personal

Following my post yesterday, there have been more interesting (and predictable) developments in the Indian public space. People in the city of Jaipur are advised to indulge in private displays of affection instead (this is very much Indian culture, btw) and make loads of babies. It’s good for the country, people. Jai Ho! Actually, this happens every […]

For amusement purposes only

February 13th, 2007  |  by Anita  |  published in Entertainment, Humour, India & Around, Living

Stuff like this serves as much needed amusement, and bring a smile to my face on an otherwise seriously busy day! The question that gets my attention: Should couple’s be allowed to kiss in public like in paris? And then I read on… Response 1 what is the harm in it? if the partneres are loyal to each […]

Fun with flowers

January 29th, 2007  |  by Anita  |  published in Entertainment, Living, Nature & Wildlife, Personal, Photography

It’s always a pleasure to go to Lalbagh during the flower shows, which are held in Jan and August every year in the city. This time around, despite noble intentions to go on the first day, I didn’t quite make it. So, on the last day (better late, than never!), I decided to make a […]

The view from here

January 23rd, 2007  |  by Anita  |  published in Entertainment, Humour, India & Around, Living, Personal

“Smart, qualified, witty, employed young women, extrovert, party animals — in short “eligible” in every sense but unmarried. Reason: they haven’t come across the “right” man yet. Are their expectations very high? Do they want the looks of a Brad Pitt and the qualities of a Darcy and the wealth of Bill Gates preferably with the voice of Amitabh Bachchan and the poetry of Neruda? Not really. They just want a man who shares their interests and respects their independence and is fun to be with. Or so they claim!

New beginnings

January 18th, 2007  |  by Anita  |  published in Entertainment, India & Around, Living, Nature & Wildlife, Photography, Sports & Adventure, Travel

I know! We’re well into the New Year and my blog’s looking really ignored. Someone emailed me today and asked me what the matter was. It’s true. And I’ve been ignoring the blog for a while but I have a good excuse. Life and all its exigencies :) After a lovely but tiring trek on […]

Rajesh who blogs here, dropped in and hopefully will be a part of the team soon. He’s also written a really nice post here about the meeting and about Infinitea so you can follow this […]
