It’s my favourite sea­son — win­ter! And it’s a lovely time to be in this city too. The tabubuia blos­soms paint the town pink and pur­ple, and there’s that slight nip in the air in the morn­ing that makes you spend a few extra min­utes in bed.

Lau­sanne is pic­ture post­card pretty — every­where you turn there is some­thing worth click­ing. Steph picked me up from the air­port and we came home to grab a bite. Bagha was nowhere around (he was prob­a­bly chas­ing a lady some­where, but Steph said he was more likely asleep!). So we had to leave with­out find­ing him.
