After dinner with friends at Indiranagar I set off towards Koramangala. It had been raining for around an hour but I didn’t really realize how bad things were outside.

And with the Sunfeast around the corner, you can imagine how frustrating that is for me. Anyway, I thought I would ask for some home-made recipes to cure a common cold and I got some very interesting responses when I [...]

I had an opportunity to sample some great Parsi fare a couple of weekends ago. I had read about it in a newspaper and archived it for future reference. And then when we were looking for a place to eat in Indiranagar, I suddenly remembered my archived reference. I went there for the first time and then the following weekend – that should tell you a lot about how much I liked the food!

The weather was hot and balmy. It was our last day in Kerala and we were looking forward to spending the night on a houseboat.

On my previous trips to Kerala, I’ve only gotten within drooling distance of a houseboat. It’s a rather expensive proposition. There was one time when Steph was down from Switzerland and we did some sightseeing on a small boat, and then went around in a little canoe (that was fun!).

March and then April has been a month of changes. Old giving way to the new. I think all the stars aligned in a certain direction and cosmic forces decided it was time that I was lodged out of my familiar circumstances and surroundings.

March heralded a new job and a new house.
