It was a misty morning, when a group of us arrived at Nandi Hills. We were disappointed because we could hardly see anything. But it turned out to be a blessing in disguise! Nandi Hills is about 80 kms from Bangalore and offers a pleasant view of the city from its elevated status.
Glorious Gokarna: A view of the sea from the adjoining hill that runs alongside the beach for a long stretch. This is on the path to Half Moon beach from Om beach. You are treated to some of the most gorgeous views on the West coast of India. Gokarna is situated at the tip of Karnataka and is a few hours away from Goa.
Taken during my trip to Switzerland in October 2005. Stephanie took us for a drive to the top of a hill from where one could get a view of the beautiful Lake Léman and the surrounding towns bordering the lake. We watched the sun go down bathing the hills in a beautiful light as it set.
