I hope for your sake that you weren’t caught in the rain yesterday. I know several people had a few adventures when the heavens opened up. So while people were battling traffic jams and flooded roads, I was thankfully, warm and cozy at home and decided to follow the cat around with a camera. She hates the flash and runs away each time I point the camera towards her, but I managed to catch the elusive woman in a few poses. Here’s Kit Kit in her many hiding places.

In a quiet moment of reflection, I realized that I had completed 6 months in the city of Bangalore. And I didn’t realize how the time had flown. I was chatting with Deki, who I had met when I was about one month old here and realized that it has been 5 months since then! I moved from Mumbai for both personal and work related reasons. I needed the change. I needed to get away and out of a rut that was killing me. There were some who wondered why I had given up the fast life of Mumbai for the slower pace of Bangalore. But looking back, I have actually done more in the 6 months here than I managed in 6 years in Mumbai.
