The newly opened restaurant, proves to be an interesting place to hang out and gossip with friends, over food and drinks, especially over a long lazy weekend meal.
It was a different experience in Mumbai this time around – we played tourists to the hilt. When you live in a city, I think you tend to miss a lot of things – fine details you don’t really notice as you rush about your daily work. Like that lovely Church behind Fort where I worked for a year or so – why had I never seen it? The beautiful old heritage buildings in Kalaghoda and Fort – never looked at them closely before. I had little time to stand and stare back then.
So it was only May end/beginning of June that I was down with a cold and got these useful home remedies. I’ve barely got over that bout (or so it seems!) and I am down with a cold again. I had an opportunity to sample some great Parsi fare a couple of weekends ago. I had read about it in a newspaper and archived it for future reference. And then when we were looking for a place to eat in Indiranagar, I suddenly remembered my archived reference. I went there for the first time and then the following weekend : that should tell you a lot about how much I liked the food!
In my perfect world, I will be surrounded by a lot of teapots of varying shapes and sizes. There will be cups of tea in different flavours waiting to be tasted, tea strainers, tea pots, kettles and the intoxicating smell of the dark brew everywhere.
