Back from Goa!

Just back from a week long cycling trip to Goa. We cycled over 60 kms every day over 5 days. The weather was hot and steamy. The terrain was up and down and mostly unpredictable. We crossed beaches, little towns, hamlets, green fields, mining areas, hills, plains, forests and wildlife sanctuaries. We saw Goa like we’d never seen before. We began from Panjim. From there we made our way down South towards Mobor and Assolna (Day 1 halt). The next day we headed towards Netravati and halted at Tanshikar Farms (and the best place we stayed in during our journey!). On day 3, we made our way east towards Doodhsagar (famous for the falls of the same name), which is located in the Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary. On Day 4, we headed towards Bondla National Sanctuary after one of the toughest climbs of the trip. On the last day on the road, we left Bondla and made our way to Marcel, and then Old Goa via the Cumburjua ferry ghat. From Old Goa, we cycled …
