Have cycle, will travel!

Posted on January 18, 2005

An amazing feat in my book. Shree Kumar cycled all the way from Chennai to Kolkata in 15 days. A distance of over 2000 kilometres!

Freaking fish! I am truly speechless. (And especially more so because I could never master the art of cycling :)!

He’s blogged all about it. With pictures. Please to visit!

Mammoth Lakes Adventure: The Swim

Posted on September 12, 2016September 15, 2016

To swim, bike and run on the same day is always a challenge. And though I enjoy all three sports, I’m still testing out the waters with shorter distances right now. Last year, I wrote about getting into triathlons and also doing my first triathlon – a sprint distance. This…

Running in Mumbai

Posted on January 26, 2009January 26, 2009

The Mumbai run was an exciting event for me. The registrations start way in advance so there is quite a build up over the months. It was another story that I wasn’t too prepared and hadn’t put in any long runs in the month prior to Mumbai. But I was…

Cycling Going the Distance

Going the distance!

Posted on March 15, 2011March 24, 2011

An account of a 400km ride covering Bangalore-Vellore-Bangalore in 26 hours and something minutes, as a part of the Bangalore Brevets. My cycling journey continues and gets more interesting as the years go by (at least for me). At times, I wish I’d started earlier in life (I wasted a…

Hi Anita! Thanks for adding me to your blogroll! My last blog incidentally deals with a bicycle as well but has a totally different perspective on the subject [the indolence partly stems from the fact, that even I cannot cycle!]
