Catch the fib! Posted on August 17, 2005August 24, 2005 This is a meme from Anupma’s journal. Just for some harmless fun… And a prize! 1. Though I am a right hander, I occasionally eat with my left hand. I believe that it makes my food tastier for some reason! 2. I am an avid fan of horror movies. My favourite past time is renting out 3-4 of them and watching them in succession. Through the night. With company of course (need someone to clutch during scary scenes). And loads of popcorn! 3. I once went to Goa and ate only chicken. No beer, and surprisingly, no fish at all! 4. My favourite perfume is Lancôme’s Poeme. 5. i love writing long emails in lower case only. i think it is really cool and once in a while i’ve even posted blog entries written completely in lower case. i simply ‘lowe’ it! i am going to write a book someday. all in lower case. So here it is : I fibbed : just once. If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, and know me pretty/reasonably well, you should be able to guess where I’m lying! If you can catch my fib, there is a prize waiting for you! Wandering around in Fontainhas Posted on December 29, 2006December 29, 2006 You must go to Fontainhas, said my friend Albert on the phone. It’s a heritage area where you can still see influence of Portugese architecture. He’s a true blue Goan so I couldn’t possibly not listen to him! On our last day in Goa, we headed to this old quartier… Share this: Share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook Share on Reddit (Opens in new window) Reddit Share on X (Opens in new window) X Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window) Pinterest Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window) Email Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window) Tumblr Print (Opens in new window) Print Read More
‘World’s oldest blogger’ dies at 108 Posted on July 14, 2008July 14, 2008 An Australian woman often described as the world’s oldest blogger has died at the age of 108 after posting a final message about her ailing health but how she sang “a happy song, as I do every day.” Not that I want to live to be 108, but I can… Share this: Share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook Share on Reddit (Opens in new window) Reddit Share on X (Opens in new window) X Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window) Pinterest Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window) Email Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window) Tumblr Print (Opens in new window) Print Read More
Living Coping with life changes and enjoying the seasons Posted on April 11, 2019March 22, 2025 My initial emotions when contemplating yet another life changing shift was equal parts anticipation and depression/anxiety. And probably, now that I think about it, quite naturally so. I did live in California for nearly 4 years (they did fly by) and built a life and a social network there. I… Share this: Share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook Share on Reddit (Opens in new window) Reddit Share on X (Opens in new window) X Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window) Pinterest Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window) Email Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window) Tumblr Print (Opens in new window) Print Read More
