Flickering in the wind

A Little Step
It’s a moonlit night, beside a lake
Stars are shining bright, magic in the air
People all around, smiles you see
People that you love

You’re not so sure its real, too good to be
Just a lingering doubt, maybe
This is all you’ve wanted your world to be
A place where heaven ends, the earth begins

You begin to wonder
Cannot believe that all this time you’ve missed it
There is so much beauty around that you’ve failed to see

Then you walk away
Wishing that you could take away all sorrow, all pain
Make tomorrow a little better than today

You couldn’t stand to watch, destruction
of this place you’ve seen
Broken hopes and shattered dreams
Chaos, confusion

Maybe it’s a dream, it could be true
A paradise on earth
You can make this world what you want it to be
A place where heaven ends and the earth begins

You begin to wonder
Cannot believe that all this time you’ve missed it
There is so much beauty around that you’ve failed to see
You begin to see
It’s time you did
Just a little step we could take
to make tomorrow a little better than today.

Another band, Thermal and A Quarter also has two of their singles on offer – Bend the World and Chainese Item.

TAAQ will also perform along with Antaragni on Jan 4, to raise funds for the victims and families of Indians affected by the tsunami. Venue: St John’s Auditorium, Koramangala from 8.30 pm onwards.

Go ahead, download the songs and listen to them. And of course, buy their albums. Let’s support our very talented young Indian artists.

A near disaster @ Mumbai airport…

My journey started off on a slightly scary note when I reach the airport at 5 am on the 13th morning to find that the Gulf Air flight I am taking to London via Abu Dhabi is rescheduled.

The KTM is upon us…

Posted on October 18, 2008October 18, 2008

The Kaveri Trail marathon is finally here (it also came much sooner than I thought!). On the scary side, I haven’t run in more than two weeks. My travel put my schedule out of order and I’ve been rather lazy in the mornings too. So I’m not in the best…

A 100 day challenge: Fitness, food and a few important things

Posted on August 5, 2018August 5, 2018

When visiting Stephanie last month in Switzerland, she and I reminisced about when we met and how we met. We actually met through our blogs! I was quite active on blogger at that time, having discovered blogs around 2002. I found some correspondence between us dating back to 2004, but…
