My experimentation with backlit photography during the last weekend trip to Bandipur and Ooty.
This was early morning at the guest house in Ooty. With the sun illuminating the flower from the back, it made a really pretty picture.

Excellent photograph! The composition is good and you have blurred out the background very well. Can you post a bigger version of the photo?

And u say u’r bad with taking flower pictures… This is a real good one. It does justice to the color purple.
