It’s that time of the year! Posted on March 5, 2004 Ah, well. It’s that time of the year again. I remember being younger and so excited everytime my ‘special day’ would come around. It was a time when all my friends came over, mom made yummy khana, boyfriend gave me ‘cho-shweet’ gifts, sister was extra nice that day, dad would smile a little more. And being a sucker for gifts, I would get excited over every little thing I got as a present. Now, I think, ‘Oh, my God. Is it that time of the year already?’ I mean, didn’t I just turn a year older a few days ago? Oh noooo! Ah, well. There it is. Do leave yours in the comments box. At my age, they’re the only kind that I’ll be getting 🙂 Share this: Share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook Share on Reddit (Opens in new window) Reddit Share on X (Opens in new window) X Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window) Pinterest Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window) Email Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window) Tumblr Print (Opens in new window) Print Living

Quick life update on a slow dial-up connection Posted on April 16, 2008April 16, 2008 So, here I am at home with the parents in Guwahati. The phone, not surprisingly, has been out of order for a while. Finally today, I hear a shrill noise that shocks me out of my reverie. Apparently, it’s the phone ringing. Once I’ve confirmed the instrument is actually working,… Share this: Share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook Share on Reddit (Opens in new window) Reddit Share on X (Opens in new window) X Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window) Pinterest Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window) Email Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window) Tumblr Print (Opens in new window) Print Read More
Living Coping with life changes and enjoying the seasons Posted on April 11, 2019March 22, 2025 My initial emotions when contemplating yet another life changing shift was equal parts anticipation and depression/anxiety.
