Looking ahead at 2007! Posted on December 30, 2006December 30, 2006 I don’t know where I’m going But, I sure know where I’ve been Hanging on the promises In songs of yesterday An’ I’ve made up my mind I ain’t wasting no more time But, here I go again Here I go again It’s been quite a year. But it’s time to wrap it up in tissue and relegate it to the back of the cupboard along with all the other memories! And look with renewed hope and optimism at the coming year. Here’s something really beautiful that a friend sent me and I’ve been listening to it again and again. Hazards of being a foodie Posted on December 1, 2005December 1, 2005 Sigh, it’s difficult being a foodie, I say. Firstly, there’s just so much waiting there beckoning to you saying Γ’β¬Εeat meΓ’β¬Β and secondly, you’re always fighting a losing battle with the weighing scales. Losing battle all the way, especially since I realized (much to my dismay, might I add) that I will never come close to looking like Ms Natalie Gleb-drop-everything-dead-Gova, the current Miss Universe and decided therefore to go ahead and just enjoy being a food junkie instead.
