Want to join the worldwide network of Metbloggers?

Posted on February 13, 2007February 13, 2007

Metroblogging ® is the world’s largest network of city focused blogs, with over 700 bloggers contributing to more than 50 cities…

From San Francisco to Bangkok, from Karachi to Toronto, Mumbai to Bangalore, Metblogs are a hyper-local look at what’s going on in the city. Our hand-picked core of regional bloggers give each site a new perspective on daily life; less calendar listings, more friendly advice.

With Metblogs ®, you can read about life and times in your neighborhood, your favorite places to visit, places where you’ve never been, or get a feel for them all with the “best of” blog on the hub at metroblogging.com.

If you’re interested in being a part of the Bangalore Metblogs team, do shoot me an email at anitabora at yahoo dot com

The few things to note are that you need to be a Bangalore resident, passionate about the city and want to write about things happening in and around a few times a week! And we also meet up in person every once so often to gupshup, catch up, debate and discuss!

So what are you waiting for?

Why do we frequent Koshy’s?

Posted on February 23, 2007February 26, 2007

This is one great mystery for me. Most of the time the food is nothing to write home about and not value for money. The waiters talk to you like you are a very sad life form that doesn’t deserve to exist, the place is noisy and you can literally…

Posted on January 13, 2004

After much deliberation (that’s why the delay!), I decided on a basket of flowers for VJ, who won the Best Female Blogger at the Indibloggies. The painting’s done and getting packed right now, all ready to fly all the way from Mumbai to Chennai. Do hope you like it!

Oh Fish!

Posted on February 23, 2006February 23, 2006

Had some amazing fish last week at Chennai, when I was there for a one day trip. Caught up with Kiruba, who as always was nice enough to take out some time from his busy schedule. Looking for a place to grab a bite, he spotted a signboard saying Coconut Lagoon with the illustration of a karimeen fish. That was enough to get me enthused and we spied the restaurant, a few metres away. It promised the Delicacies of Mangalore, Goa and Kerala and we weren’t disappointed.
