Ring in the new! Posted on December 31, 2005December 31, 2005 By Anita It’s been such an exciting year! So many things done and ticked on my list (and yet so many left pending). But that’s what the coming year is for, ay? A few difficult times to tide through and yet there were always the great times that made them pale in… Share this: Share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook Share on Reddit (Opens in new window) Reddit Share on X (Opens in new window) X Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window) Pinterest Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window) Email Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window) Tumblr Print (Opens in new window) Print Read more

Of chance meetings Posted on October 30, 2005October 30, 2005 By Anita I thought my time in Paris would be spent alone. Not that I had any problems. With its efficient rail and bus system, Paris is very much geared for tourists and it is difficult to get lost. I covered quite a lot of ground in the three days I was there. Including walking up the Champs-Elysees from Franklin Roosevelt station and the Eiffel Tower from Trocadera Gardens station, just as Jag had suggested (thanks Jag!). I especially loved the Louvre (where my head started spinning after a few hours) and the Moulin Rouge, the Basilica of Sacre Coeur and that whole bargain shopping stretch at Montmarte. Hola! Posted on October 20, 2005October 21, 2005 By Anita Lots to write about Barcelona but not much time right now – an absolutely beautiful city – and it´s no wonder why it rates among the top most livable cities in the world.
