A near disaster @ Mumbai airport…

Posted on October 15, 2005October 15, 2005 By Anita

My journey started off on a slightly scary note when I reach the airport at 5 am on the 13th morning to find that the Gulf Air flight I am taking to London via Abu Dhabi is rescheduled.

4 jours à Paris and more!

Posted on October 6, 2005October 14, 2005 By Anita

Finally, finally!

After much plotting and planning, the vacation I’ve been dreaming of for a while…

My visas has arrived (except for the Swiss one, which I hope will come by tomorrow)!

SUN, SAND & SURF: TWO DAYS IN GOKARNA

Posted on October 3, 2005October 3, 2005 By Anita

And of course, as we approached the day of departure, quite a few backed out. Fever, work, sudden loss of interest : there were all kinds of explanations as usual. A predictable trend amongst people who are very enthusiastic to start off with! “Let’s go,” “Gokarna, I would love to go!” “Count me in!” Alas, when the time comes to actually pack up and go, it’s a handful who remain.

Glorious Gokarna

Posted on September 19, 2005September 21, 2005 By Anita

If I knew it was such a beautiful place, I would definitely have gone earlier. Having spent 2 short but glorious days discovering the beaches of the Karwar stretch this weekend, I can only hope to go back there someday for a longer stay.
