State of chaos Posted on October 10, 2003 While I am quite open to change (in fact, I welcome it), I am quite averse to the ‘waiting’ period. The phase where the changeover is taking place and you simply have to ‘wait’ for things to happen. And you want things to move faster. But they just don’t. And you want to scream out. Move, move! Alas. Everything takes its own sweet time. And there is no option, but to wait 🙂 The house hunting is still on in full force. Along with loads of other things. So the blog is on the side-burner for a while. I’m hoping to get myself a new machine in the next few days. I’ve got lots of suggestions to go for a machine with the AMD Athlon processor instead of the Pentium 4 (which was my original plan). Am still weighing my options. Hopefully, once I’m set up in my new place with my brand new machine, I get back to some more blogging. And not to forget, an activity that pays a little more – like work! Right now, I feel like someone’s pulled the compass out of my head and left me on a deserted highway. In Africa. Time to declutter Posted on October 14, 2003 I am trying to get a grip on my things as I organise my packing. I look around and suddenly the thought strikes me. I am a collector. A rabid collector. There is nothing I don’t collect. Bills. Statements. Books. Cassettes. Restaurant order slips. Doctor’s prescriptions. Ball point pens. Brochures… Share this: Share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook Share on Reddit (Opens in new window) Reddit Share on X (Opens in new window) X Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window) Pinterest Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window) Email Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window) Tumblr Print (Opens in new window) Print Read More
Living What makes you feel alive? Part 1 Posted on October 14, 2012October 14, 2012 . I am sure it’s something all of you have experienced. Sometimes in quiet moments and sometimes in your wildest hours, when you’re exhilarated… When you’re totally in the moment, doing something that makes you feel “alive”. The view from here Posted on January 23, 2007January 23, 2007 “Smart, qualified, witty, employed young women, extrovert, party animals – in short “eligible” in every sense but unmarried. Reason: they haven’t come across the “right” man yet. Are their expectations very high? Do they want the looks of a Brad Pitt and the qualities of a Darcy and the wealth of Bill Gates preferably with the voice of Amitabh Bachchan and the poetry of Neruda? Not really. They just want a man who shares their interests and respects their independence and is fun to be with. Or so they claim!
