Another new brunch in town Posted on November 20, 2006November 21, 2006 Brunches can prove to be rather harmful to your pockets. But just hanging out at a nice place, enjoying the breezy and cool Bangalore weather in the company of family and friends over a long, leisurely lunch is not an altogether unpleasant way to spend a Sunday afternoon either. I would recommend it once in a while! This Sunday, I got an opportunity to try out the brunch at Lido, the 24 hour coffee place and restaurant, at Ista. For those of you who might not know this place, it’s the hotel built in the same place where the old Lido theatre was located. It’s relatively new so a lot of people haven’t heard of it as yet. Here’s the review of Ista and Lido and a whole lot of pictures! Short, of course. 2 back-to-back 12 hour bus journeys would have been back breaking to say the least, but our enthusiasm levels made it bearable. My camera died in the raft. We got stuck at one point. Water gushed in. Everything… Share this: Share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook Share on Reddit (Opens in new window) Reddit Share on X (Opens in new window) X Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window) Pinterest Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window) Email Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window) Tumblr Print (Opens in new window) Print Read More
Look what I nearly picked up in Goa! Posted on November 8, 2004 Isn’t he absolutely adorable? Of course, Kit Kit would have been mighty jealous if she knew how much fun I had with these cute creatures in Goa! And there were seven of them. This one poses like a doll. I was really tempted to pack him up and bring him… Share this: Share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook Share on Reddit (Opens in new window) Reddit Share on X (Opens in new window) X Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window) Pinterest Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window) Email Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window) Tumblr Print (Opens in new window) Print Read More
Seen a puppet show lately? Posted on December 7, 2004 Have been meaning to write about a slightly different form of entertainment I enjoyed a few days ago. A puppet show at the Alliance called Fox Story with Vaish for company. Later, we realized that behind all the entertaining music, dialogues and songs were just 3 guys (where we thought… Share this: Share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook Share on Reddit (Opens in new window) Reddit Share on X (Opens in new window) X Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window) Pinterest Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window) Email Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window) Tumblr Print (Opens in new window) Print Read More
