bangalore bloggers blogout!

bLogout. For once, Suman comes up with an interesting word :)

So instead of sitting in a coffee shop or a Koshy’s, we’ve decided to go away somewhere for the next blog meet. And appropriately, the meet will be called bLogout (trademark Suman!).

The plan for now is to head to a place called Kadumane. My inclinations right now are towards Honnemardu, but Suman feels it might not suit everyone (please support me, if you think Suman is wrong and we can always change the destination)!

We are now planning to head to Honnemardu (provided we get the bookings). It’s a really fun place with water sports to keep everyone busy.

If you’re interested in joining in, please do email me or Suman by Mon/Tues next.

The date is the 3rd weekend of June (18,19).

If we have enough people expressing their interest by Monday/Tuesday, we will go ahead and make the reservations. Please do not email us saying you can’t make it or suggest another date.

So bLogout folks! It’s fun!

And if you have questions, go read Suman’s FAQ! Please don’t get scared though. He does tend to go over the top :)

  4. aditya: do try

sathish: we will have to make reservations at the place we are going (for accomodation) especially if we are 10+. We can drive there if we have enough vehicles or organise a vehicle.

ferrari: great! please also publise bLogout in your blog.

  12. Hello,

We are looking for Mystery Shoppers in Bangalore.

Below is a small note on the Mystery Shopping Concept —

Get paid to shop, dine and report and make some extra money using your writing skills. The concept is pretty simple. Top retail chains, five star properties and fast food chains in India hire our services to get their stores evaluated through the eyes of a normal customer. We are looking for people who frequently visit these outlets and write well.

Every week there are a certain number of reviews in your city. Based on your availability and interest, you can choose to perform a review for us. You visit the outlet and notice what’s going on. You then go to our website and fill in a report which has a questionnaire and comment boxes to help you document your observations.

Within 30–45 days you will be paid a pre determined shopper fee which will include an reimbursement for any amount spent in the store plus an additional shopper fee. That’s how the system works.

Follow the below mentioned steps to sign up as an OI reviewer
    • Go to this link http://www.sassieshop.com/2dcs/index.norm.php
    • Click on new shopper sign up
    • Click “India” under new shopper and click on “go“
    • Enter your basic information in the form and click on “sign me up“
Do let us know as soon as you have signed up and we shall then guide you further.
Please call us at +919769781001 / 022–65211001 or shoot us an email at support@onioninsights.com if you have any other queries or any difficulty while signing up.

  2. […] Ramya Kannan says in her article in The Hindu’s Sunday Magazine, “They create an identity for themselves on the Net and chat about a variety of subjects. Some bloggers, however, arrange meets to put faces to the names”. Well, with all due respect, she is technically correct. But the same definition applies to Instant Messaging users also. What differentiates blogging is publishing. The power of publishing to the lay person. Let’s not go there. What’s the big deal in a bunch of people meeting up anyway? Unless it is something like our June bLogout? I think it is high time we stopped defining what a blog is or who a blogger is. A blog is an interactive personal website. Period. What’s with mentioning URLs and not linking them? Ramya what maa? Hey! You have linked only Nirenjan. Hmmm. Edho paathu seyynga. Read it on The Hindu […]
