and in blogworld… Posted on March 31, 2005 I haven’t had much of a chance to get around the blog world lately with my things getting rather hectic during the day and then evenings at the hospital. Today morning, I thought I’d quickly do a round of some of the familiar bloggers and what do I find! — Madman who’s gone off to Singapore on a holiday (because the air fares were too damn cheap!) is now blogging his travel adventures here. — Kiruba’s gone off and shut his blog. And so yet another popular blog comes to an end. Of course, one can always hope for reincarnations – they’re quite the done thing nowadays. (and managed to make a fool out of all of us :). — Nilesh has gone off and won the Best South East Asian / Indian Photoblog – a big congratulations to him – he’s a talented young lad behind the lens! Congratulations, Nilesh 🙂 Share this: Share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook Share on Reddit (Opens in new window) Reddit Share on X (Opens in new window) X Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window) Pinterest Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window) Email Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window) Tumblr Print (Opens in new window) Print Blogs
Blogs Into the light! Posted on January 19, 2011March 24, 2011 2011 came without much warning. I breezed through 2010. A lot of travel and work kept me busy and off the blog! The “project” I much wanted to launch didn’t see light of day (at least formally). But then, that’s life, I discovered. Most things you have on your “to… Share this: Share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook Share on Reddit (Opens in new window) Reddit Share on X (Opens in new window) X Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window) Pinterest Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window) Email Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window) Tumblr Print (Opens in new window) Print Read More
A marathon meet! Posted on May 16, 2005 It turned out to be quite a marathon meet after all. 19 20 bloggers attended and we had a nearly 100% attendance! There were 2 of womankind and 18 of mankind. Hmmm. Some old faces and loads of new ones. Kiruba was our special guest. A special thanks to him… Share this: Share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook Share on Reddit (Opens in new window) Reddit Share on X (Opens in new window) X Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window) Pinterest Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window) Email Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window) Tumblr Print (Opens in new window) Print Read More
Comment problems Posted on January 30, 2007January 30, 2007 I had a few complaints from folks not being able to leave comments. Apparently, the version of spam karma2 I’m using is not compatible with this template and so the comments were not being accepted. It’s been fixed now, so please do leave me a comment or two so I… Share this: Share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook Share on Reddit (Opens in new window) Reddit Share on X (Opens in new window) X Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window) Pinterest Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window) Email Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window) Tumblr Print (Opens in new window) Print Read More

Hi Anita I visited your site accidentally (and then went on to check other links/portfolios) and was pleasantly surprised to see the variety of subjects you have dealt with. Also liked your photography, which is fresh and spontaneous. Incidentally, I’m also from Shillong, where I’ve spent my childhood years. Like you (as narrrated in one of your memoirs) I also left Shillong (in 1981). It was nice taking a walk down memory lane through your writing. Keep up the good work. Cheers Sagar Reply
