Blog mentions

Posted on May 5, 2005

I meant to post about JALS media mentions. Finally managed to get a shot of the 2 clips. One is in India Today (May 2 issue, you will need to be a subscriber to access the online edition) and the other was in the Dataquest (Apri 15 issue).

The Dataquest story was on Industry trends. The India Today also talked about the whole tsunami help blog effort that was put up by Peter Griffin, Dina Mehta, Rohit Gupta and others. That probably was one of the more notable achievements of collaborations online in Indian cyberspace.

And I’ve noticed that media’s interest in the blogging world happens in bursts. I think when one magazine/newspaper covers it in a big way, others suddenly realise they have to do something about it too.

Love… is in the air (and so is a new photoblog :)

Posted on February 14, 2006February 14, 2006

I’ve been wanting to set up a photoblog for a while. Since I mass upload most of my pictures on Flickr.com (without much stress on quality), this one will be especially for the ones I like or think are worth showcasing. Hopefully, I should be able to update it with a picture every second day or so.

Hey, that’s great! But these are not the only mentions. Whenever there’s a story on blogging or a quiz or anything, JALS is always there.

Hey Anita, Great coverage. It was nice reading about the folks. Specially liked yours and Amit’s photographs.

I think there’s a great story waiting to happen about Bangalore Shutterbugs. That’s a real unique group adn definitely deserves mention.

    Way to go! 🙂
