Mumbai calling! Posted on January 3, 2009January 3, 2009 So, in a few weeks time, it will be time to visit Mumbai! The Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon is on January 18. I am hoping to run into a few bloggers and familiar faces on the race day. If you’re in Mumbai during the time, do come out and cheer. There’s the dream run too (6k) where you can run/walk and I’ve asked some friends to participate in that at least. Quite a few of us from Bangalore will be travelling for the event. In my 5 years in Mumbai, I was never even aware of the marathon and it’s actually quite ironical that I will be travelling all the way from Bangalore to be a part of it now! But, that’s life… always full of surprises 🙂 Anyone planning to run? Or coming out to cheer? 🙂 Share this: Share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook Share on Reddit (Opens in new window) Reddit Share on X (Opens in new window) X Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window) Pinterest Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window) Email Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window) Tumblr Print (Opens in new window) Print India & Around Living Running Sports & Adventure

Horsing around Posted on June 8, 2004 One advantage of being in Bangalore, I’ve quickly discovered is the plethora of things to do. Besides getting back into my old loves – badminton and swimming – I decided to get into another activity, horse riding. So bright and early on Saturday morning, landed up at the Race Course… Share this: Share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook Share on Reddit (Opens in new window) Reddit Share on X (Opens in new window) X Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window) Pinterest Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window) Email Share on Tumblr (Opens in new window) Tumblr Print (Opens in new window) Print Read More

Hey Anita, Happy new year !!! Been a long time. Good to see you have taken to running with a real zeal. Take care and lets see if you can run 365 KMs this year ? Thats something for a target isnt it ? vasu Reply
Got your reference through my sister in law’s (swatisani) blog.I was staying in Colaba (Navy nagar)for 3 years and even did certain arrangements for aerial photographt as of my official duties. But no marathon – too lazy I guess. Plus the things closest to you are probably furthest from your heart. My wife will vouch for it 🙂 Reply
@ vasu: hi and same to you! that would be a good target, definitely! @ raahul: thanks! glad you’re inspired! yes, it’s been non stop action for me! @ Nandish: Next time! @ Nadeem: serial photography? of events? wow, that sounds interesting! Reply
